Wont stay in gear

Sounds like you need to adjust your shifter arm.
This is the piece that runs from the bottom of your shift lever to the top of the transmission, and looks kinda like a tie rod. Loosen the lock nuts and spin the rod either in or out. You can watch the shifter handle move as you turn the rod. You want to see the handle moving towards the rear of the quad, this will give you more travel in the shifter handle. Once it is adjusted, remember to tighten the lock nuts back down.

Thanks for the input.. I tried to adjust it but it didnt help.. even took linkage off and put in gear by hand just keeps popping out of gear. Gonna try what Mud said and see if the shifting dogs are worn out.. Ordered a manual today now just have to wait for snail mail to arrive.
