Is there a special oil that goes into the shift box where the shifter goes into by the gas tank. Under that rubber boot is there oil or a grease there. My seems to kinda catch in neutral, sooo I thought it might be out of oil. ANY HELP IS VERY HELPFUL. THANKS!!!!

It is a 00 Sportsman 500 And the hand shifter there is that rubber boot under that in the shifter box.
