DO NOT!! i repeat DO NOT!! put that exhaust on your machine. i have it. overly loud to anyone behind you, or so i hear. not dependable at all. it is not worth the money either. go with white bros. or supertrapp. maybe even fmf. my hot seat exhaust has already rusted through in 3 places, and the muffler has collapsed where it meets the pipe and flared out there too. PIECE OF CRAP!! trust me on this one. it will last about a year and then theres nothing but problems out of it.

Hmmmm. Looks like maybe you should look at another unhappy Hot seat Owners Post

I've never owned a supertrap on my four wheeler - but I sure have on my street bike and it was really nice...

I don't know if it's different for an SP, but I have one on my scrambler and love it! Had it well over a year and have no problems. I guess it's all about the luck of the draw sometimes.

Holy crap. Glad I read this post, I have my dealer trying to get me a HotSeat pipe for my 04.5 500 HO. I guess I will be cancelling my order. Do you know how hard it is to find a good exhaust for the 500 HO. Lots for the scrambler but the mounts are wrong. Christ there are even more options for the 600/700.

I'm bringing this thread back from the dead!

Because it seems the "unhappy Hot seat Owners Post" has been deleted!

All I get is "ERROR: Sorry, we were unable to locate the object requested."

Sorry dude - I've slept since then. It was a good link when I posted it. I can only vouch for supertrapp anyway. They are good (and tunable - at least the bikes are)
