Removed the plastic and took care of some routine maintenance on my scrambler and have a question about a clear tube I found. If you are sitting on the bike the tube is located on the left side just to left of the front of the airbox. One end runs directly into the frame rail. I believe it is a breather of some sort but can't figure out where the other end should connect. Checked my service manual and spent a fair amount of time looking through the rest of the bike and I don't see any place that it would connect. It looked like it ran down towards the engine/trans and might connect to something on the right side of the bike.

Anyone know what this mystery hose is for and where it should be connected at the other end?

Thanks

Jason

Is the opening up by the oil tank if so it is probably the transmission breather.

Not exactly by the oil tank.

Where it hooks into the frame it is very close to the airbox.

Thanks,

Jason
