Sportsman clutch worn out?

I was wondering what would cause a 98 sportsman 500 to upshift to early?It still has a lot of power,but shifts up really quick after only 15-20 yards,causing it to kind of bogg down.

How's the belt. A thin belt will make it upshift early.

check belt shape,or try a new one,if it still do that it is probably the secondary spring not stiff enough,try a stiffer hole in the helix
cam and try it out,good lucks...
