I am buying a new 2002 Sportsman 500 HO in the next few days. The best price I can get so far has been $5899 out the door price. I am located in Colorado, but would travel some for a better deal. The offer of $5899 is in Kansas. What bothers me is that his price was $5999 BEFORE Polaris dropped the price on the 2002 models. I would like to get one in the mid $5000s. Is this possible? Any other suggestions on buying this machine are appreciated.

 

That dosen't seem to be a very good price considering I just paid $6150+ tax for a 02 700 here in M.N. I heard 500's are going for 56 to 57 in the Twin citys area! But an awfull long way for you to drive to save a few bucks!

Whess, it sounds like you're getting one in the mid $5000. Tax will cost between 500-600. So $5899 OTD - tax = $5500.

that's a pretty good deal considering my dealer sold my '01 SP400 for $4850.

Near Blaine 694 and 169 or close to it my freind went up there and after they advertised 500 h.o for 5499. He then bought a extended 54 mo. warranty and went out the door price of $5999 with warranty. The Mag 500 were only 4999.
