i have a sportsman 500 99 does anybody know how much belt deflection is standard on this bike i know that on a snowmobile its an inche and a half .

Its pretty much the same though 1 1/4" would be
better. If its EBS than there is no adjustment
that I know. Charlie

I think on the EBS system that there should be very little belt deflection. The belt must remain tight for the one way bearing to lock up for engine braking.
