how hard is it 2 put in a clutch kit?

got a 02 500 4x4 scrambler and just put a dg excellerator exhaust on it.i can tell a different in taking off but nothing topend.i'm hittin 59.8 on my gps.my buddy has a 01 2x4 stock it goes 67.9.and is stock.would a clutch kit help? and how hard r they 2 put in?

If you do any amount of wrenching already you would have no problem with a clutch kit. The only special tool you need is a clutch puller, which you should be able to borrow from your dealer, or buy one only about $40 Canadian.

WHy does he need a clutch puller,I needed no special tools for my sport?

Not a big deal at all.
The only hard part is with the secondary, and if you can get a friend to give you a hand holding the clutch together, its also easy.
I needed only basic tools, and a good snap ring plier set.
Just follow the instructions that will come with it.
When you order it let them know exactly how you will be using the quad. I went a little too agresive with my Scrambler clutch kit and the initial engagement was a pain when trail rideing.
