why 600 and 700 so close in price??

i dont get why the 600 twin and 700 are so close in price,, spend couple more hundred and get a bigger one lol,, someone explain,,

ive heard that the 700 engine isnt as well built as the 600, not first hand info though

the 700 is not at full potential yet (engine) so they let the new market focus on this new 600 version,better sales with a smaller quads.
