Would I be able to just spray paint my a-arms, or would I have to powder coat them in order for the paint to hold up well? I was thinking of doing it for fun. I have no experience painting something like this, so any input is appreciated.

Powder coating is the way to go if you want it to last a long time. However, you can use an automotive type paint and then put a clear coat over it. This will last better than just some general paint in a can.

I was thinking about using the Rhino truck bed liner stuff on the a-arms, and frame bottom. You can now get it in spray cans, black white, red, and I think blue. If I can find aluminum, silver color I am going with it and doing the whole frame. That is if I do not sell it first. If I do not sell it by winter I am taking the motor off and its going to RCR for the 414 kit and the whole frame, a-arms, and swing arm are getting painted.
