Trail blazer is it a upgrade??

I have rode the 160 many times. The Trail Blazer is still considered an entry level quad by most, but it is a huge improvment over the 160. The handling, suspension, and power are all much better. I think you would be very happy with that switch. I have a Prairie 650, and I still like to ride my Blazer every now and then. Fun machine.

The Trailblazer is a great ride, lots of clearance and suspension travel, automatic trans is great for those all day trail rides, electric start, and it looks cool. From factory it is not as fast as a 250 should be!If you dont pipe it then at least get a clutch kit or if you cant afford that, get a white primary spring and that will help alot on the take off.Stock it is very hard to do wheelies but just changing the spring will help alot.Spring is about 18.00,Clutch kit from HPD is about 90.00 (highly reccomend), And the huge help will be the pipe and silencer. HPD trail pipe and silencer is 260.00 or you can get the whole trail kit for 325.00 from RCR wich includes a pipe and silencer, clutch kit, jets and k&n filter mod.OH and free shipping!!It is a real nice quad.It may not be the fastest but it is still fun. Stay away from other brands other than RCR,HPD,or hotseat. These 3 companies have designed there performance mods specificly for polaris quads.Other brands might have a clutch kit but no pipe and silencer to match or vise versa.Clutch kits need to match the pipe to get the most power out of them. WELL GOOD LUCK!!

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!
