Geez, I don't know what to say....I'm 5' tall 150lbs. I guess I fall into your midget group Capt.(LOL) I praise the the people who invented sport machines....short and narrow seat. I can only ride the wifes TrailBoss for about a half hour before getting wore out. Too bad because I love the Boss and Scrambler. Guess I'll just have to stick with the Banshee for now.......Later

Im 6'2 and 350 lbs, The leading Fat A$$ so far and proud of it.

I felt the Grizzly and the SP500 were both very comfortable. My next purchace will be a Yellow SP500. Of course I'm still keeping my Grizz too.

I test rode my friends Honda 300ex over a year ago and it kind of reminded me of when i was 5 years old and had one of those plastic big wheels with the hand brake on the rear tire.

1 Month later is was in Kosco Harley-Davidson Kinnelon, NJ sitting of a Spankin' new 99 Scrambler 500 which was dwarfed next to a Sportsman 500. I thought to my self " Wow this is a mans quad ". I then sat on the sportman and thought to my self " Owning this quad must mean you've arrived ". I sat back down on the Scrambler and said to my self " 500, 4 stroke, 4wd, liquid cooled...what's not to like". I then told the sales man to have one assembled for tommorow and i'll take it.

What can I say, I pick up my Y2K 400 2X4 Scrambler on Friday the 31st.... It fits me and that's all that counts.... If anyone doesn't like it I can always give them the" Sampsonite Test"
( the commercial where the put the luggage in with the gorilla.... it may have survived, but the monkey didn't have a big hammer or a cutting torch either....) LOL

I am 6'3 and a WHOPPING 145 lbs. I'm not the biggest person here but I still feel like the trailboss is the perfect size for me.

Since everyone is talking about being big... I need some advise on the new sportsman 500. Being a bigger guy (6'4", 230 lbs) I adjusted the rear shocks by going two clicks up on them (comes from the factory at the lowest seting.) The ride difference is amazing, you should try it. Much more stable. But here is the problem, I like the ride in the back so much more I want to increase the spring tension in the front. Been surfing the web for days now and haven't found a way to do it. With the struts, I'm assuming that you need some kinda spacer, but haven't found any, anywhere. Anyone know of a company that makes something like this? Do you have to replace the springs?

Hey I pulask I like your way of thinking I am also about 6'2" 220 lbs...ok 230 lbs, I think I will experiment with moving my shocks around in the back, if you hear anything about your idea on the front shocks let me know...

Ride fun ride fast ride Polaris
