It just so happens I have a 97 Scrambler500 with an Aaen pipe.

I think that the price will be more or less depending on where you live. Here in Texas I think you could probably find one in the $3800 to $4200 range. This is not an educated guess, just what I think. There is a 97 Scrambler down the street from me for sale. I will stop on my way home this evening and check the price and add it to this post.
When I purchased my Scrambler last year I paid $4500. That was without the pipe..The pipe was not that expensive, but it was with a set of Mud Runners.
You can goto Kelly Blue Book on line and it has values for four wheelers.

Also;
Please tell me. Is the 97 Scrambler that you are looking at very loud? Mine seems to be too loud..Just curious.

I would like to add this..
A guy I know just bought a 97 Sport 400 2wd and it is supposed to be in pretty good shape for $2100.00. I think he got a really good deal..
He found it at a swap meet.

Thanks Tony I heard this was the year for the low-powered motors? I have a chance to trade my 97 Banshee for one then I thoght I had the Polaris sold the guy backed out. I was asking $3700 for the Banshee. The AAEN pipe wasnt loud its quieter than my friends Honda 300EX w/ the baffle removed.

wait a second.......

I have ridden and raced a 2000 Scrambler 500HO 4x4 and he wasn't pulling off and leaving me or even that much faster than mine...and That was with my oversized tires.

and just for your Info..
Kelly Blue Book shows the value at $4125.00 retail
If you find them as cheep as you say...Let me know I will buy a couple....

one more thing...It was never called "the low output motor"
