i am thinking about getting a warrior, 400ex. if i get enough money i might think about a scrambler 500 4x4. i was wonder wich ones are reliable. i want a reliable quad that starts every time, and not much braking prematurely. i ride alot of trails, not alot of mud, snow, and some racing at mx tracks. i have a 2001 trailboss 325,and i like it, but i want a little more speed and power.thanks

from what youve described, a used 400ex would be perfect for you. they are quick, agile, and extremely reliable. they should be cheap too.

With the ones you listed, the 400ex would be the best.

Go with the Warrior it has reverse.A bike on the trails without it is a pain. But if I were you I would ride what u have till I had the cash for a Scrambler.

well i guess of your 3 choices, i would stick with what you got, and save your money.. the warrior is nice bike but you will soon get bord with it and want more.. the scrambler is pretty good but for me there would be a wieght issue.. and the 400ex is a very outdated bike, without reverse... i don't know if you have the money to buy new but if you do i'd go for the Z400.. from what you described it sounds like the bike for you... but if you don't mind not having reverse go with the 400ex..

I don't think you will be impressed with the power of the warrior. If you like having reverse, you won't like the out dated 400ex. I wouldn't suggest the 4x4 unless you ride in mud and snow, which you said you don't and especially not if you like some mx racing. I think you would be most happy with the Z400 or KFX400.

Default how reliable are yamaha warrior,......

very true, the warrior gets boring fast! I have a 01 warrior $2000 in mods and already bored of it, good in the woods and slow stuff, but speedin, MX jumps etc, it will DIE. I broke all my motor mounts from jumping??? and had to replace swingarm. only jumped about 5 ft too!
