I have a '97 Trailblazer 250. How much and what type of oil do you put in the counter balancer? Is the crank case lubricated by the gas and oil mixture or does it have it's own oil? If it uses it's own oil, how much does it take?

I could be wrong here, but I don't think the 250's have a counter-balancer. If I am wrong, I've had good luck using Mobil 1 10w30

MDP49, all you have to worry about is keeping oil in the injection tank, and keep the transmission serviced. That is it for oil fluids.Bubba

the non-liquid cooled 250 doesn't have counter balance, the only vibrations stopper are the motor mounts,i run amsoil heavy duty 0w30 synthetic in mine, last longer and stay clean.
