Polaris Atvs
#1
I have been reading around here and have seen a lot of people who like to bash on Polaris. Well, I just thought I had to get my two cents in and say Polaris MAKES THE BEST UTILITY ATVS ALL THE WAY!! Their utilitys are also a bit faster than most others and they are sporty. If you ask me the arctic cats just look like a box. Polaris' may have a little trouble from time to time but so does any atv that gets beat on. I have used mine from everything to hauling 50-60 foot dead trees and a trailor full of heavy rocks to trail riding and even jumping!! And somehow the thing had held together through it all. Polaris' also have more luxaries than most other atvs. These luxaries make riding a polaris more fun and comfortable but they also have more to go wrong although the only thing that has ever gone wrong on my 96 sporstman 400 after thousands of miles and hundreds if not in the thousands of hours would be I have worn out 1 sprocket and had a few bolts get loose. Polaris' are built like a rock! Even when I flipped it end over end nothing serious happened to it. Except the speedometer broke when it hit. This was a very bad flip that would have probably totaled most other atvs but i was able to turn it over start it up and ride back home. So what I guess I am getting at if you want an atv built strong that will take punishment get a Polaris. You will probably have no more problems with a Polaris than you will with any other utility atv. To see there great utility models check out there website. www.polarisindustries.com

well what about in the water?
here we go in water and they break down!
yes great for what you just said and the suspension is the greatest but jsut isn't a big time water and deep mud atv cause or the PVT belt thing and when water gets in there it jsut doesn't maek the cut the others can!

I just recently traded in the 96 magnum425 for a 2000 Magnum500. The old Magnum never had a serious or costly problem after 7,000 miles. The belt never even needed replaceing. As you can guess the tires were almost gone but otherwise I am convinced that it was one of the toughest quads ever made. The new magnum rides smoother, runs quieter and is all around better. Thanks Polaris for making the best big bore quad even better.

Well, atvs are not meant to be boats especially big heavy utilities. But, I have never heard of anyone else having a problem taking there atv in water. Of coarse unless there 4-5 feet deep and let of the gas LOL. I have had mine in about 3-4 feet deep and no problems. I am very happy with my Polaris utility and when I need a new utility it will with out a doubt be another Polaris!! I agree there are a lot of silent satisfied Polaris owners. It would be nice if they spoke up but until then we few will have to keep everybody in shape. I don't even know where some of the people get half the stuff they blame on Polaris!! I think they just have to make up what ever they can because the know a Polaris utility will make their utility look like a POS!! They are just jealous and won't admit it. Polaris utility forever!!

Happy Polaris owners abound. We don’t often see endorsements like yours on forums like these because it’s like wearing a T-shirt with a target on the back to a practice range. Most of us who’ve participated in these forums a while have found it more effective to ignore the bashers than to bait them. Just like your teeth, ignore them and they’ll go away.
I know you feel compelled to defend your brand, but honestly, it’s much more fun to exchange useful information about rides and riding than the frustration of arguing with some fool who’s mind you’ll never change. Just my opinion, I could be wrong.
