Default we had a little race today...

i have a 2000 scrambler 500 4x4 and my buddy has a newer 500 only its 2x4 . we lined them up today we raced a couple times in 2wheel drive and he beat me off the line each time and then it was even the whole way (about 3 quad lenths).
then i tried it in 4x4 and got him of the line by a very little. lol
the only difference is his is 2x4 and mine has a rack fender flares 4x4 and a k&n filter.
any ideas to help me win next time?? or any race stories from you guys??

If you have the K&N already, try raising the needle up one notch by lowering the clip down one. Then back the idle screw out 1 1/5 turns from all the way in. You may then want to remove the airbox lid before the next race and see what happens. It's worth a shot. Good luck.

Change your primary spring for more low end.Once you get the jump on him then you will stay ahead. You will get a big jump over him. Then its all you.
