polaris had a big trailer at the dunes saturday. i heard they were there friday also. 2 guys riding predators with paddles. one had white bros exhuast. they drag pretty fast. blew awas the suzuki and kawi 400's. the guys were looking like late 30's. one of em was getting huge jumps. big air. definetaly the best jumper out there. wish i had that job.

 

I seen them racing too, pretty impressive. This guy on the 250r wouldn't happen to be you would it? I thought it was pretty funny. I wish I could have seen them jumping. I thought the same thing, what a dream job.

no i didn't do that move this weekend. i had the two little oval lites on the front of my atc. i was glad to see so many atc 250r's out there. i was riding with the wife on her 250ex. i did drag a few times.

 

That kid flipping back didn't have much weight to hold that front end down, I bet he only weighed 110 lbs. He had to almost lay on the bars to get a good launch.

 

so how did you guys do drag racing. i was the fastest atc. i seen you guys riding around. i had a honda jacket on.

 

We did pretty good. We weren't out there to do any serious racing, just out playing around. I didn't bring my 400 because I just put a new Swaintech coated piston in it and I felt the dunes was probably not a good place to break it in.

 

friends 2000 400 isn't running up to its full potential. hes had rcr do some work on it and he doesn't think its getting top speed. hows yours running?

 

Ours have been running great.

What did you friend have done?

If you feel there is a problem call Rick at RCR and he will help out, He will fix the problem.

I am guessing the problem is in clutching????
