i need help i drag race my 500 scrambler every weekend at a drag strip and the problem im having is this the first 60 yards im running 2.2 seconds but the next 40 yards its tasking me 4and a half seconds anyone got any suggestion

Try a Polaris yellow primary spring it should let you up shift faster but the engagement will be a little higher.

Dude, your wheeler must rock. My race modded sport 411cc does only 1.82 seconds in the first 60ft. If you can cover 60yrds in 2.2 seconds, you are doing something. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] Bubba

He must mean that he is doing 60 FEET in 2.2sec. If you were doing 60 YARDS in 2.2 sec and then 4 more seconds to get the next 40 YARDS, you would be slowing down.
You will need more than just a spring to get the most out of your clutches. A stiffer primary spring will not make your clutches shift faster.

Elroy, I'm sure that is what he meant. I was kind of joking and having a little fun. Covering 60yrds in 2.2 would be in the 3 second range in 300ft.WOW! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]Bubba
