Yea..I know that..but I'm not willing to chance 2500 bucks for getting caught..I only paid 3000 for my bike!

 

Thats why people outrun them if they can 2500 vs 3000 for a new quad.The judges dont give any leeway and as far as im concerned they might as well have gotten there right to be apointed from a crackerjack box.Its all bout the benjamins and revenue people from NJ havent added it all up that its 1 big bs scheme.Yes I said it yes I can and Yes I still have freedom of speech.

I plan to get nto racing for that 1 reason,I can make as much noise smoke and ride my nuts off and feel good when ts all good an done with.Environmentalism is out of control it more like it borders on socialism I feel.Itss gonna get to the point that there will be no place to ride,no 1 will buy an then they will stop making em.If it wasnt for my quads Id be a full blown drug adict and be really streessed out.Hey we could sue the enviros for mental duress due to not beng able to have stress relief.

I know what its like to have no where to ride, I live about 45 minutes away in New Castle, Delaware. Delaware doesn't have a single legal riding place and the illegal ones that are left in the area are being turned into a housing development and the other is now heavily police patrolled. I haven't heard anything about huge fines in my area yet. My opinion is that the cops should be out looking for deeper offenders rather than ticketing any one having fun on the weekend, as long as the rider isn't obnoxious.

 

Im up in North Jersey and its the same crap here. No legal places to ride but fortunately I have state land right behind my home that is rarely patrolled. I ride from my back yard. Prior to living here, I had to truck my atv to places in Stanhope and Sparta, but like Sisyphus2k2, the ****** will wait by your truck for you. Luckily I've only been caught twice. one appearance in court - $250. fine and the other time I was let off the hook and warned.
You can blame all this crap on the lawyers. If it wasn't for morons that get hurt and sue the owner of the property they are riding on (private or gov. owned) we wouldn't have these problems. The state should make laws preventing the ability to sue for your own stupidity. These days, I cringe when kids come in my yard for the fear that if they hurt themselves, I'll get sued. Welcome to our new world !!!!

 

Guys, man I really feel for you. That all sounds like a bunch of crap! Is there any thing you can do as far as petitioning or something to get something done? That doesnt sound fair at all. Since I grew up in this area, I would NEVER have imagined that you guys have it that hard. I can drive 20min from my house into the national forest and ride for days never hitting the same trail twice. The only limiting factor for us is gas and food. We have (2) 300ft dirt drags close by and the Arkansas river sand bar to ride on whenever. This is truly a beautiful great state to live in. Come on everyone, move on down. LOL Bubba
