Default Sprocket for Trailblazer

i need a new sproket for my trailblazer so i figured why i needed a new one why not make my quad better by getting a smaller or bigger one. i'm j/w what do you guys think would be better for it? more teeth for a higher top end, or smaller for better acceleration? i ride in sand pits w/ a bit of hillclimbs, some railroad tracks, and about half trails. give me some opinions of what you think. thanks for all the help. oh and by the way. if i got a bigger sprocket, how much acceleration would i lose. and if i got a smaller one, how much top end would i lose?

Stick with the stock eleven tooth (11).this is for the best bottom end.I have two Trailblazers 2000 and 2001.I tried the thirteen and twelve tooth sprockets and went back to stock eleven. On the 250 Trailblazer I fell you need all the bottom end you can get. Just my opionion hope this helps.

Do you want more bottom end or top end. You cant have both. What kind of riding do you do?Bottom end is good for trails, climbing,or wheeling.Top end is good for top speed but we all know that top speed on a Trailblazer with almost no mods is usless. I have better bottom end than a Scrambler400. I can beat it off the line and pull ahead till about 50-55 mph and then the Scrambler catches up and then passes me. I top out at about 63-65 mph. But thats with mods. So it all depends on what you want. I love the way mine is set up now. I can hang with the bigger bikes and its only a 250cc. In most cases mine is better on the trails than other bikes because of the good low end.

i ride in sand pits w/ a bit of hillclimbs, some railroad tracks, and about half trails. if i was to put a trail pipe on it, and go a little smaller for the sprocket, would it even it out so i could be going a bit faster on top end and still have good low end pull?

You could put a trail pipe on it and you would be happy with it.Tons of low end and added top end. Do you have any clutch mods?
