I took my 03 Sp700 to a dealer and he put on the new water pump kit and it still leaks. I had him check the clutch clunk which he said was the tranny and probably was within tollerance so just ride it. I told him my water pump was squealing but he forgot to check that. The gear grinding on compression was way louder than any other he heard but go ahead and ride it until it breaks. The bad vibration even though it was twice as bad as when new was ok, go ahead and ride it.
When I got home from a 40 mile ride, it wouldn't hardly start, took a lot of cranking and now when its cold it won't run good enough to pull itself out of the garage to warm up which all of this starting stuff is new, any ideas on what would cause that? Thanks.

Within tolerances is a blow off. They blew you off man. Demand that they look at it. Sounds like you got a wednesday bike. Has there been any strikes at the plant? worth researching. Make em fix it while its still young and under warrant. Keep every receipt and write down all contact you have with polaris. sounds to me like you might have gotten a dud. Be ready to fight. Remember dont yell keep a cool head. But dont let up until YOU ARE SATISFIED WITH YOUR BIKE. You spent way to much money to let them screw you. The squeeky wheel gets greased.

Yea I am trying to find a good dealer in Las Vegas, I bought the bike in Utah which is 3 hrs away so I would like to get warranty work done locally if I can. A friend has a 02 Sp700 and it does not have the noises that mine does so I really think its a lemon. Love the ride and 4x4 system, its awsome! My 40 mile ride was up a recently washed out wash (if you flatlanders know what a wash is) so I was in mud, crawling over rocks, sometimes had one wheel in a 2' deep ditch while the other was up on level ground, lots of low 4x4 work but wow what a machine. Once I get the bugs worked out it will be a keeper.
