Mine is doing the same thing, but I will bet you my dealer does something about it, I have never heard of them not covering something like this because it is not natural.

I've got it too on a 5 month on SP. Hasn't caused any problems yet but visibility of the lcd readout for mileage and hours. Sure would like a clear screen too!

It's happening on mine as well. Wonder if the dealer will do anything about it? With this many occurances, is it recall time???????

My '99 Sportsman had moisture in the speedometer from the day I picked it up. I went to the dealer and he replaced it once. It now has moisture in the new too, it drys up if I leave it in the sun to get warm. It dosen't bother as much as that damn rear brake squeaking all the time! I can still read the odometer.

I am sure my dealer will take care of me on this, I plan on buying the extended warranty anyway...so does anybody know the email address for Polaris so we could start bugging them about this issue, maybe even some of the guys who have had to pay for the speedometers may have an issue with Polaris to maybe get them to make a recall or reimburse them for their money spent on this repair, this obviously is not normal.

I had this problem with mine when left outside in in moist air. I took it to the dealer and they told me that there was a retro for this which was drilling a small hole in the back of the speedo. They did it for me and it didn't cost me a dime
