Got ur Predator???

Bad News!!!! The GM at the dealership called me today and apologized for telling me my quad had already shipped and that my doubts about the predator being shipped were correct. He said he couldn’t get an exact answer as to what the delays were. Polaris needs to come clean with their ship dates. It's obvious they're having problems with production delays. Who knows what it could be. It might even be due to a component supplier like Fox, Maxxis, or Douglas. I hope they're not looking for ways to widen their profit margins by switching to cheaper components like Cannondale did when they ditched the Cannibal Ohlin shocks. If Polaris doesn't care enough about their customers and dealers to communicate what's going on with the delays, that worries me. It makes me wonder if it could be something big that they don't have an answer for yet and are keeping things hush hush until they do. If anybody hears anything, please make a post.
I was in denial until now Modquad, but I have seen the light. Shame on Polaris!!!

Well, if there is a problem, I'm glad they are addressing it now and not just rolling them out to the masses. I would prefer to have to wait a little longer and it be right than to get it and it break down or recall issued. Then wait for the backordered parts to come in while it sits in the garage or at the dealers. JMO!

Good call Stebob, at this point I almost (I did say almost) wish I hadn't had the chance to ride one.....kinda tormenting knowing how fun it's gonna be. Heck, we've waited this long, they have a very aggressive team of people working on this thing. I'm confident they're gonna get it right, heck,I would've been grinin' like an idiot to take my pre-production unit home. Just yanked the motor and trans out to keep the brain occupied.
Dear Polaris, take your time, get it right. The waiting sucks, but the end result (lot's 'o' dirt flyin') will be well worth it.

Why is it that every person who is not getting a Predator is telling Polaris to take their time? I want my quad when they promised, and I want it right. They have $6.742.00 of my money which could be earning interest in my account,
you think that they could at least let the buyers know what is going on and be honest about the delivery. I agree that the quad must be perfect for Polaris's debut into the high performance arena, but this code of silence is ridiculous.

Dune Rocket- that was out the door w/ no extended warranty. A 5 year warranty was 748.00 extra, I was gonna get it but my dealer told me that I had to follow their maintenance schedule and have it serviced at the dealer. So that 748.00 becomes probably 1500.00 over the 5 years. I suppose I'll get a good shop manual - my friend is an atv mechanic. Bullgod, did your dealer tell you anything like what mine told me? I bought the standard Predator, not the Troy Lee - I couldn't stand to see that one scratched !!!
