Default which epi spring is best?

i had my dealer put an epi clutch kit in my sp700. he put in the purple spring and i couldn't even back up without the override button pushed. is this normal? the engagement seemed too high for slow trail riding so i told him to put in the yellow spring but instead he changed something else, secondary maybe? anyway, what do you guys suggest? It's brand new and i never drove it with the stock clutching so i don't know how different it is. thanks!

EPI red spring is a good one to use.It is the same as a Polaris white. This is the next one up from stock. Changing primary spring will give a higher engagement, giving you a stronger take off. Yes you will have to use the reverse button if the primary spring is changed. You can bipass the button if you dont like using it.

Im not sure about the yellow. All i know is that the red is a little higher engagement than stock. Before my Trailblazer was modded i could not pull the wheels up untill i put the red spring in and it made a huge difference. Now that it has mods i have an HPD clutch kit. Either way i had to use the button.
