Somebody on Ebay is selling their FREE reservation for $500 bucks, shouldn't that be criminal? He says he may even sell a reservation on a standard Predator..............what a joke.

gotta admit though......he is pretty smart to do that....a lot of people do that with cars, and people DO buy the spots...

Looks to me like a dealer trying to make an extra profit.

You know you might just be right...do dealers try to make extra profit....ha ha......you have some dealers on here that protect their reputation at any costs...they seem to show up more when a thread gets started on the price of a bike.....ride on [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]

 

When the 99 ford Lightning came out, dealers around me sold them as much as $8000 over MSRP because everyone wanted one. $500 for a reserve would have been cheap in that instance.

 

I wouldn't mind it so much if it was an individual selling their spot, but a dealer... that's just lame. Well, it's capitalism actually, but still as a result I'd find out who that dealer is and never ever do business with 'em.

On the other hand, if they waited to get the machine in and THEN put the actual unit up here, that's another story. I just seem to have a problem auctioning off the reservation...
