Been hearing talk of Polaris possibly buying the former Excelsior-Henderson building in Belle Plaine, MN. Can anyone confirm this? Makes me curious what they will build there. New line of sport machines tailored after the Predator??? Some of the numbers I have heard is that the building is going for less than what the paint line cost ($7 million) when the building was far more than that to begin with ($30 million).

The city of Belle Plaine could use someone like Polaris to move in to this facility after they were raked over the coals by the previous tenants. Sure hope it's true. Polaris business has been booming as indicated by the stock prices lately and show even more promise with the new product offerings.

There is a skilled work force in the area that would be willing to take on the challenge and the oppurtunity to work for them. Polaris can only do so much in their existing plants in WI and MN.

just some talk around town that there is some interest in the building and the Polaris name has come up several times. Sure would be a welcome boost for the area with several employers pulling the plug and heading for Mexico.
