The change of one tooth on the front sprocket helped a lot in the dunes, but I think that a pipe is still in order. It just doesnt have the low end grunt I was used to with the 400ex, but let me tell you, you just dont run out of mid range or top end! I took some videos of the Predator in the dunes today. Sorry but they are of lower quality because they were taken with a sony mavica camera. There are a few of my son riding it up through the trees, and they some drag racing a Banshee up a hill. The Banshee is a stock 03 with 8 paddle haulers just like the Predator, both riders are about the same heigh weight and riding skill level. It was interesting to see what happened on the drags. There is one drag race video that the Banshee gets the hole shot, and the Predator rider lets off because the front end comes up, and he lets off the throttle twice at the top, and the Predator still wins. If I get the new computer I want for Xmas, there will be more videos, but of a lot higher quality. My son wants pipes for the Banshee for Christmas, but I said no, because until I get my pipe, I want to be faster Predator Videos

Cool video's!
Here's a couple I took. It's a flat drag race between a Cannondale Glamis and the Predator.
Both quads are stock.
You'll need quicktime to view these and they are both over 3MB in size.
Video 1 The Cannondale lets off the gas near the cameraman. The Predator was already ahead (slightly).
Video 2 A very close race.

Great videos Mike! I had a blast doing the shootout against the Cannondale. The Glamis impressed me, great all around power and excellent throttle response. It did a better job hanging with the Predator than the piped z400s and Raptors I've raced. While the Cannondale has it on the low end, I think I'd give the highend power award to the Predator. In the end I think rider ability was the factor in determining the winner. The one thing that has me scratching my head is why the Predator's fifth gear wouldn't pull any harder than rapped out 4th gear during that race. I remember hitting 5th gear and having it pull on the desert flats in Phoenix against other bikes. Must have been the terrain. Either way, I'm curious to see what a difference a 13 tooth front sprocket will do.
