I need some help. A few weeks ago i was riding and the brakes were working fine and i pulled in the brake and started to stop and then there was a whooshing sound and the brakes died. The previous owner crack the metal mount thing at the side of the resevoir and we thought it was sucking air so we got a new resavoir and everything. cost almost $100 bucks, after that we bought a bleeding kit and and bled the brakes but they still don't work. We used to be able to pump the brakes and they'd be fine but today i think i must have sucked in air somehow becuase i tried to bleed them again and after i got done you couldn't even pump the brake to get it working. Theres also kind of a swishing noise from the resevoir when i squeeze the lever. Maybe i just didn't tighten the res. lid tight enough though.
I don't know what else to do, short of buying a new hydralic cylinder. Thats like $125. Is there anything else i can do or check? Thx for the help
