Huh, I'm totally confused now.
I mix my own batch of Chet oil all the time. Its cheaper to mix your own than purchase what the manufactures call semi synthetic.
I have been doing this for years. It says on all the bottles of synthetic that it is fully compatible with dino oil.
Help Chet to know if he is making snake oil or is Chet oil the best oil in the world!!!!!!!

Same as the others, stay with the Polaris brand, for the amount you'll use any extra cost is negligible. We changed over to the Premium Synthetic and just added it straight to the tank of convential oil. That was in '93 and my friend now has the bike and it's running as good as ever.

Well, If I am wrong so be it. I dont know it all and definitely wont act like I do. I have been a mechanic for 15 years and the "hear say" has always been do not mix synthetic with non synthetic. I have never been shown otherwise, so I have always taken it to heart. If you were going to take the time to mix it, why bother when the fully synthetic is so "superior"? I have wondered about the blended oils. Sorry for any incorrect info. I would like to know more, though. Thank you,Bubba
