Looking to put a Warn winch on my 2002 Sportsman 500. I wanted to know if anyone else has noticed a big differnce in the ride of the machine with the winch on the front. Is it really noticable or not that much? Any information would he helpfull.

I had a winch on sp500 and I didn't think that I could notice any difference in ride. I also put one on my sp700, and can't really notice the difference either.

 

yea,,,, i noticed it was alot easier to get out of the mud..lol

I have a 02 sp500 also. I notice no diff. either. Looks like you get a lot of snow were you live. Do you have a snow blade for your sp500? If you do the winch will really help you out.

It doesn't make much difference in the ride, but it makes it a lot easier to get out of the mud. They are a heavy machine to try and lift.
