Default Predator stalls in water! Better FIX

Well since I have posted there was a stalling problem with pred have any of u other guys tried taking urs through a long water crossing yet? A couple of us have brain stormed over night and we came up with a better fix than the one posted lastnight. Get with me and ill email you the fix its alot better. Polaris engineers dont get this one free. So please if you find the new fix out pass it on but not to the engineers. Thanks!

Im kinda new here...but i have a question..if you have a fix for this..why would you not want to share it with the polaris enginers? Maybe your only kidding..but i mean, if you shared it..they could MAYBE incorporate the new features into future bikes...why make it a secret?? again..not trying to start a war or stir up $hit..just curious?

Scotts88,

It doesn't matter whether you are new here or not, good question.

I don't think it will take the Polaris engineers to long to figure out the problem and correct it.

I have read both treads and I feel that ypu have really made this out to be more that it is and all I have to ask is, Did an Engineer beat you as a child? You sure seem to not like them. There are good and bad people in every field. I do not consider this problem to be nothing more than a MINOR problem that is easily fixed. If you have a better fix, then just post it, and get on with your life.

By the way I am not an engineer.

ok here we go lets not think to hard here children. first of all are u spending your own money that you work for? Or are you spending mommy and daddies money on your brand new 6000.00 atv. Whatever the case you call and ask polaris for wiring schematics the answer there, we dont have any. Well isnt this a quad thats been in the works for years, thats what everyone says.If you build a 6000.00 machine before you sell it you must test it. What did polaris only test this thing in the desert.I bet thats the only place they tested it, because i know the da%n thing doesnt like water. Now why wouldnt i share my fix with polaris. Well im not on their multi million dollar pay roll are u. Things in this world dont come free and my fix wont either. So go on hammer me on why im pis^ed. I alreay made u guys aware of the problem maybe i should have let your dealer rack his head and figure it out for themselves if they could. They probably would have called the tech line and you too could have been told to ride it in the parking lot.And maybe i should have let u died in a water crossing too. lets see years designing a quad for me to tell them how to fix it i dont think so. Thats why i paid them 6000.00. Remember this boys I told you about this problem and i told you the fix and I bet you there will be a update and mod for this within a very short time.

Hey Badpred, you really need to get over this. I'm not meaning to **** you off, but good grief pal, it's minor like the others said. Ride your Predator, join a club, and have a blast.

onebadpredator,

If that be the case why even post about it. I would have said nothing and left it at that.

The Predator was tested in Adena, Ohio on july 6th at the Rumble on the Ridge poker run... There is quite a few deep stream crossings there along with several mudholes...These guys ran them hard down there, it took them 56 minutes to run the 34 mile course..Here is the Link to where I have the pics I took of the test Predators from that day...They also stated that they were headed to the Hatfeild-McCoy trail system, and Gadgets spotted them at the Allegheny National Forest a week later....
