I posted some questions in the past about Scrambler plastic I believe from the information I got that Polaris is the only place to get my new plastic. So I was wondering if anyone new what the best way to get the custom color I am looking for, I assume there not much chance of dying or painting plastic anyway anyting anyone might suggest would be great.

You are correct, Polaris is the only one that makes it.
As far as colors, there are a few colors avilable.
Red
Yellow
Blue
Black
White
Purple (LIGHT)
Silver (Gray) From accesories catalog
Just order Plastic for the the appropriate year that color was used.
As far as paint, there have been a few that have done this, looks good for a while but scratches come on quick.
As far a dyeing, I don't know enough on the subject to comment, Sounds expensive.

Yep, Polaris is the way to go. You can paint plastic, but unless you have a good friend that owns a body shop, it would cost as much as to buy some new from the dealer. That is the best thing about buying plastic for a Polaris as compared to a Jap model. it doesnt cost near as much.

My uncle owns a body shop but I was wondering if it was done right is it pretty durable isn't there some type of a coating or something to protect scratches I'm sure if my uncle had some kind of an idea of the best way to do it that they would do a very nice job. But I know he has never done anyting like it in the past. I appreciate any info you might have on painting atv plastic thanks

sorry, I have seen several guys at little sahara with nice looking quads that were painted. One guy had a good friend who had painted 2 of them. He said it had several coats of paint and several coats of clear. But I am sure that you have to use a special kind of flexible primer or something like that. Have your uncle contact his paint rep. He should be able to get the right answers.Bubba
