Ive always had good luck using STP Son-of-a-gun.Just apply until it rolls off the plastic.Wait a couple hours then wife off with a paper towel. You will probably have to do this twice as the first towel just soaks up the excess. The second kinda evens out the remaining.I use on top and bottom sides.Works great for me.

I use soap and water to clean and i found some stuff at my local Car Quest Auto Parts called detailing spray in an aerosol can made by Duragloss. It is a silicone based spray and works very good to shine the whole bike.Later.

hose the heavy mud off with a hose or power washer then spray Simple Green on all the quad even the underneath and everything you can reach. Let sit for about a minute or two, then spray off with garden hose ,the quad and all the plastic will look like new. It won't remove scratches though. Works better on the tires than tire cleaner.
