Default Is this a good price for a SP600???

I just got off the phone with them here's the deal.

They are out of SP600's no more to come.

They have 700's for $5999.99 through today and then they go up $150.00 so I guess you could walk in there Thursday and pay $6150.00 still a fair price though my friend bought a Kawi PR650 for $5999.99 at Bristows in Saint Cloud.

Hope that helps.

John

Polaridoo, I realize these prices seem far fetched; I thought they were too when I saw them posted, but when I called, they were truly legitimate. Like I mentioned before, a few days after placing deposits on the 600 and 700, I tried to place one on a 500 and the dealership would not take it. I was told over the phone that they had been bombarded with out of state orders and were taking no more phone deposits. Upon arriving at the Hopkins store and speaking with one of the salesman, I was told that the promotion was intended to generate parts, service, accessories, and extended warranty sales and that they were getting none of that benefit from out of state purchases. We had to go to the St. Paul store to get a 500; there were none assembled where we picked up the two bikes on which we had deposits. Luckily we got one at the other location due to the fact that they were holding two quads for one person (by mistake, he only wanted one). Also as I mentioned earlier, the price on the 500 had gone up by $200, but was still an excellent price. I have no idea what the prices were on 600's and 700's on Saturday when we picked them up, but I imagine that after the unfriendly treatment that we received at the Hopkins store, that there is no way that they are quoting the prices over the phone. When I first began this quest, I performed a dealer search on the Polaris website and called another dealer just miles from the Hopkins location and the person on the phone would not give me their "sale prices" over the phone. I got no additional discount for buying 3 quads as suggested earlier and have no reason to manufacture these prices. I have the purchase agreement for the 700 (mine) and can get the ones for the other two quads and scan them if there is any doubt that these prices are for real. It cost us $211 in fuel and $61.86 to drive up there from TN (2,000 miles round trip) and when you split that 3 ways, it's much less costly than having each one shipped.

Hopefully you can get in on the low prices before they are gradually increased up to what they normally sell for.

Pest44,

Thanks so much for that detailed explanation. After reading that, I am convinced that you did get the price you say. Also, I do believe some of those deals must have 'burnt' the dealers because by the time I had called (and a friend too for that matter) they made it sound like they could not touch the kind of good deals you got. I guess my confusion came in because I thought you could by a SP all day long at those prices. I think I will make a trek to MN sometime, but I will wait until I get a few more of us on board like you did to help in the drive and split the gas. Thanks again for the details of your deal.

I live in NY and my dealer is selling them for $6600.00 plus tax(8%). Better price than I will be paying.

I just bought a 700 Mossy Oak last Saturday in Texas, $7300 out the door, blue 600 price was $6500. Many dealers in this area will not come off the MSRP, I guess they are selling very well.
