Scrammy in a ice race
#4
no it was just me and some buddies out on our pond. it really fun though. Polaris will most likely beat other brands cuz both front tires spin and the grizzleys diff lock will cut out at like 20 mph...thats just what we experienced....

Give me somemore information.
How much air pressure were you running?
I have thought about puting some narrow slicks aired up to 30(23-7-10 489's that arebald) on the back of my quad, and putting my rear rawhides on the front(25-11-12) with 2psi.
I would only have front wheel drive to pull me around the turns.
What do you think about this?

Well my machine is completely stock for now..till i get some more money.. and the tire prssure was 4 in front and 3 in back. i really don't know what would be the best combination for your tires. i think u would want to keep it in AWD at all times or else you would just be spinning out...unless it was a track and not just glare ice.....i don't know to much about this stuff just that its a blast

I just watched an ice racing event near St. Louis, MO last night. It was a good show and very different to say the least. They had some crashes and everyone had a nice machine to show off.

Have you tried the stationary donut trick with your Scramber yet?? It's a BLAST!!
Just get to a clear area on the ice and turn your handlebars to the left and gas it. All fours will light up and you will begin a spin in the same spot. Once your moving you can straighten out your handlebars, and you will keep spinning faster.
Do be sure the ice is thicker than it sounds like it was the time before.
