Got this unit and have been using it for about a month. Works very well and does not give false alarms. Simply pop the hood of your gen IV or gen IV+ quad and bolt it to the frame facing downwards (frame serves as ground) only 1 wire to hook up to battery. Picked mine up at walmart for $50 CDN ($30US) the nice part is it will give a warning chirp if the quad is touched and not go off needlessly. The link shows the talking version. The one I have is without the voice feature.

Let us know if your battery dies after you leave it for a few days. Car alarms put a constant drain on your vehicle's battery, which is no problem for cars, because they're driven every day. The smaller batteries on our machines probably won't stand up to it very well if you were to let it sit during the week waiting for a weekend ride...

Cool deal!! Like Buffalo asked, are there any specs on the box as far as amperage requirements? Hmmm, might have to give the pack of Beagles a rest and go electronic. Sniff, they've served me well, that hound chasing a rabbit bark works great. If that doen't get you, one of 'em is bound to pee on your leg
