I would like to do a few mods to pep the low and mid range up. Any suggestions. I have read that the pipes don't really do a lot, so I was wandering what to do.

Hot Seat clutch kit, FMF pipe, K&N power kit. All these things are farely inexpensive starter mods to give your bike a little better get up and go! Put them on my old Scrambler 500 4x4. Made a big difference.

single mods dont do alot by themselves, but added together make a bigger difference, i would say get a clutch kit first, and if you add in a k&n filter power kit,and a new exhaust, that would add up to a pretty good gain
