Default what oil should I use for the TB 400?

Hello, I just got my wife a Trailblazer (Scrambler, Sport) 400 and I am a little new to the oil injection systems. What I need to know is if I should use a castor or synthetic oil? Also, we went on our first trip to some little sand dunes the other day and man was I dissappointed(in the quad). I figured it would take forever for her to feel comfortable with the power but contrary to my beliefs, she had a fistfull of throttle the whole time and it was barely pulling the little 60 feet dunes! Could it be clutch slippage or is it just lack of power? I really thought these things had more ba11$ than that! We will be making a trip to glamis next turkey day and I need to know what it will take to get it over the big dunes. She does'nt need eye watering speed, just to reach the top whithout having to do anything other than reach for some more throttle. Not meaning to talk bad about the machine, other than it getting her stuck a couple of times while trying to reach the top, we love it. It just needs a lot more usable power in order for it to pull the big dunes and I don't know how much power it is loosing through the clutch. It will pull a wheelie if traction is good, it is just hard to swallow the idea that a 400cc two stroke doesn't have enough power in the sand- for my WIFE!

My stock 400 Scrambler 2000, took on Glamis with only Sand Shark "V" Paddles.
Glamis is a very small town with high prices on everthing. The dunes themselves are the Imperial Sand Dunes National Rec. Area, Anyway Oldsmobile Hill is a piece of cake. I went up it in reverse on my 650 Prairie. Now Hill #4 and #5 they are powder sand and not much run at the hill. still made it on all the ATV's we took.

If your 400 is new, the first tank of fuel is mixed with extra oil for break-in, and to make sure oil pump does't have air in it and it's working.
It will take 3-4 tanks full to get rid of extra oil.
Your 400 should have been primed with Polaris Gold Synthetic oil, use it and change air filter to K/N, replace plug. Takes awhile to start running real good.

Actually the techs at the busiest shop in Minnesota swear by the plain old Polaris non-synthetic blue oil. Leaves less deposits, it's cheaper, among other benenfits. Clutch kit and a pipe. Dial up HPD or RCR and wake up your machine.
