Desert Racing the Predator...

Okay this is a sidebar to the other "Desert Racing Predator" which talked about the lack of a Polaris presence at the Parker 250 desert race. I thought it was going to be about equipping the Predator for desert racing, like a dune or MX package. My Baja is so equipped, and it would make an attractive package for Predators sold in the Southwest...So,,, this is what I would do...
First off put the fancy Walker Evans shocks on. Suspension is everything in the desert because you never know what is going to hit you, or what you are going to hit, and great suspension is the only way to handle surprises.
Bigger tires, 22" rear, 23" front, 6-ply Maxis will do just fine,
Nerfs, just for foot protection,
handguards,
more lights,
tachometer/speedometer
out n back rack for a small cooler and extra gas...

I don't know about the Walker Evans shocks, never heard of them till I got a Predator. I think maybe more WP or Olins would be better,IMOP.Have to have that double HID lights for the night races, those are a blast. I might race mine later this year so if any shops want to send me some FREE stuff ......lol
