Hey everyone...i have decided to go with the 2003 Trailblazer but i heard the top speed is around 46-48 mph........what kind of mods can i get to make it go faster and how much would it cost? I'm not looking to race this bike, i just want a little more speed, can i up the speed with out getting a clutch? thanks for your help.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

 

The new 2003 Trailblazers are ker than the past ones and they have some upgrades over the past years. It will do around 52-55mph but with bottom end lagg. The best Bang for the buck would be the RCR stage 1 kit. It comes with the pipe,silencer,airbox mod and clutch mod. The whole cost is 325 plus free shipping. This will give you 8 more hp and bottom end is great. It will wheelie with this mod and top end will increase by 5 plus mph. The Tb has tons of mods. with the mods that i have now i top out at 66mph and i am waiting for my cylinder to come back from being ported from BUBBA297. Hopefully i will be around 70mph. It is an awsome trail bike with the mods. Any more questions and me or TALONHAWK probably have the most modded TB on this forum. Feel free to ask.

hey, i was just wondering i got my trail blazer 250 for christmas but my dad had them since october and and its all stock and if i get the rcr stage 1 kit it will work i dont have to get anything else to make it work on my bike and how long will it take to order it and how long does it take to install it in my bike and how fast tops will it go in sand at dunmont with paddlessorry for all the ques. thanks

 

The RCR stage 1 kit will give an extra 8hp with a top speed increase of about 8mph. Stock you will do about 52mph and then with the kit around 60. The kit makes it real quick on the bottom and mid range. The kit comes with everything you need. It will take about 1.5 to 2hrs to do.

 

how good does your set up work how fast does it go and how much horse power?

 

I top out at 66mph but it is not tuned right yet.I think I can get more out of it. I need to find where I am losing 300 rpm,s. If you add everything up with the hp each thing is supposed to give I am at around 42hp. Of course that much dont go to the rear wheels. A stock Scrammy is at 38hp. I really like the performance. It is real quick! I can beat a 400 scrammy off the line up untill about 50mph then it catches me and I hang right alon side from there. But I am still 300rpm,s short so I will be able to take the scrammy all the way to the top. It pulls real hard from start to finish. I am very satisfied.
