Anyone have their predator front reservoirs installed?
I ordered mine with the front shock reservoirs, but the boxes they came in from Polaris do not contain install directions or any technical information.
The dealer has only recd one or two predators in, and they had no idea on how many ounces of oil must be used to complete the install.....etc etc...
Has anyone located the directions online, or call anyone that may know what to do?
If you had your dealer put them on, how much did they charge you, and how do you like them compared to without?

Anyone who has done snowmobile shocks will know how to do this. You just put oil in res.Put the piston in the resevoir 1/8 from bottom fill shock withoil a little past threads, let the rezzy hang down maybe tap on it to get air out put shaft in.I usually bleed at resevoir and set depth again, fil with nitro.Shouldnt take more than 1/2 hour a shock at most.

I called Polaris, and a rep from their customer service dept emailed me the 2.73MB .pdf file. It's the installation directions. There are 59 steps.
Install time is 1.5 hours.
Says you will need to supply:
1 3/8" Open End
Tape Measure
3/32" Hex Wrench
9/16" Open End
5/8" Open End
Flat Head Screwdriver
Soft Faced Hammer
Fox 5wt shock oil, 1 QT
Fox Filler Needle Assembly
Compressed Nitrogen Gas
Assembly Grease
1/4-20 Bolt, Apprx 6" Long
Umm, yeah.
Dropping it off at the dealer. I will give them the shocks and rezzys.... , keep the quad at home.....
If anyone wants to host the .pdf file on their FTP or web site, let me know, I'll mail it to you.....

Thx cannondale for the simplified illustration...
Not something I've done before. I wish it was that easy for me..... the nitro I don't have anyhow... I'll find a shop to do it...
Hopefully someone knows how much dealers are roughly charging for this procedure....

Sweet!!
I need to get these rezzies too! I set my springs up for smooth riding and now the shocks feel valved to SOFT, the adjustment on the rezzies would give me the ability to stiffen up the compresion.
