Does anyone know if there was a Blue Sportsman 500 HO in 2002?
I don't remember Polaris putting out a Blue Sportsman in 2002. I only know of the 2003 Blue 600 twin.
I am going tomorrow to look at one that the guy says is a 2002.
ANY and ALL info on this would be greatly appreciated before I go tomorrow.

THe 2002 Sportsman X was blue and yellow.

What is a Sportsman X?
The guy told me that it was Blue with Yellow trim. Is this it?
Is there any difference from a regular Sportsman and a Sportsman X? I mean besides the obvious color?

It's got the different color scheme. Chrome rims. Winch. Fancier seat.

It's a real nice machine. If you can get a good deal on, I recommend buying it.

I was told I can get it for $4000.00. It has 40 hrs and 300 miles.

Yes, that is an excellent deal unless it's all banged up. A friend of mine bought one new in Dec. 01 and paid $7,500 for it out the door. The retail price was $7,899; yes, it retailed for more than the 700. It came stock with the warn A2500 multi-mount winch. Other than cosmetics, it is exactly the same as a regular HO.

 

I asked him if it had been wrecked, submerged, treated bad or was hot!!! That was the only things I could think of at the time.
He said it doesn't even have a scratch on it and the only reason he was letting it go so cheap (payoff)was because of divorce.
If everything goes right, this time tomorrow, I will be owning an almost new Sportsman X!!

Sounds like a good deal to me. Buy it and drive it up to Windrock in Tennessee and ride it. You'll love it.

I didn't reconize the new name. As you can tell, it's been a while since I have been here.
I see you got a new Predator 500!
How do you like it? They look like they would just about fly!!!
As for being able to come to Windrock, I am trying my best to get a lot of guys to go this spring/summer and make a big weekend out of it. We just haven't been able to set a solid date. If they don't go, I guess my son and I will have to go without them. Hey, it will be their loss.
