Does anyone have an idea when the new Scrambler will be released? I want to trade in my TrailBlazer, but I'm afraid they are going to improve it, and if I buy a 2000 I won't get the 2001 improvements!

I would'nt lose too much sleep over it. I'd start looking for a good deal on a '00. I expect the '01's out late fall with graphic changes, if any at all.

Just saw a 2x4 500 HO Scrambler this last weekend in Phoenix at one of the dealerships. Red seat and all.

Funny, I work at one of the largest Polaris dealerships in the midwest... www.midwestmotorsports.com
...and we have'nt heard anything about a 500 2X4.

The only thing Polaris has confirmed is that they have two youth models due out this summer. I don't think you saw what you think you saw.

My dealer confirmed that he had ordered the Scrambler 500 2x4s in February. I would believe it is out there.

As the proud owner of a 2000 4x4 scrambler 500 HO I know what a 2x4 500 scrambler looks like (the oil tank, no front drive shafts and no switch for 4wd are a sure give away)... There was one in Phoenix. Oh and the 500 and 2x4 stickers on the plastic.

just remembered what dealer it was that has the 500 scrambler 2x4, Desert Motorsports 15001 N. Hayden Road in Scottsdale. I called and they still have it. They also have a OW-02 YZF R7 Yamaha street bike which is pretty rare.
