The black/red to brown/white are from the stator that plug into the cdi module and are the exciter leads that trigger spark to the cdi.

 

This is the brown/white going into the cdi (harness) and this special wire housing is where it goes away from the cdi but I followed it and that rubber is on it the whole way down. I'll show you where it goes

 

The finger is touching the wire housing that the brown/white fed into

 

Pull the connector apart. Check ohm readings on the black/red and brown/white wire that lead down to the stator... The stator is where your finger is pointing. Plus you have a leaking oil pump line somewhere..

 

You want me to test (at the harness) blk/red to brn/white coming from the stator. Got it now, that reads 123.x

 

If you don't mind giving me your phone number I can let you hear what it sounds like and if you have FaceTime I can show you what the spark looks like. I think that's all mud btw haha, not sure that any of it is oil.

 

Have had many people ask for that,I answer here only.. Stator exciter coil shows within range (123 ohms) so you can rule the stator exciter coil out. Since you've tried TWO ignition coils,pulled the black kill wire from the cdi to eliminate a kill circuit short,then the only thing else is to pull the black wire from the reverse over ride module to see if it's causing spark loss. If you still don't have spark after that then I have to "assume" you need another cdi module. If you need another cdi supposedly one from any of these models will work according to the usage chart.

OMG!!! I removed the reverse override module plug and now I am getting a blue spark. But sadly still no start

 

One problem solved.. Leave this wire unplugged as these modules always short out and cause spark loss when they do. Now check compression.If it's at least 100 psi (by the manual which is too low imo) then check out the carb. If the carb isn't the problem,then possibly the crank seal behind the drive clutch. This is another problem area on all Polaris two strokes that can keep them from running or running right..

 

Screwing the spark plug back in, I pulled it out to see if it looked any "more blue" when I pulled out the two connections going into the left handle, couldn't really tell but I'm gonna see if maybe it just needed that little power boost of not worrying about lights and whatnot
