Default Piston Clearance

Getting the top end done on a 97 trailblazer
and was asked what piston clearance I wanted
Any Suggestions??

Default Piston Clearance

I am assuming it is a new piston. The difference is what kind of piston it is. A forged piston takes.003 clearance to keep from siezing when it heats up and expands. You can get away with less on a cast. If the piston was new, it should be marked on the box on what to set clearance on.Bubba

The piston is a wiseco

I thought .003 was the Number

I set up all at .003 evan on my harley but break in is important.
