Default predator exhaust pop

has anyone that has this problem tried going to 170 or bigger?

i just installed the clamp on K&N and jetted to 170 and lowered the clip to the bottom position. i haven't rode it yet, but revving it in the shop it sounds good.

i noticed before i raised the needle, there seemed to be a slight hesitation when it was revving up. i raise the needle all the way up and now i the hesitation is not noticeable. i have jets from 155-175, hopefully i don't experience the dreded popping as i have read about in other posts.
anyone with bolton mods post what is the jetting that pulls all the way with out the pop.

go here to check out the jetting on the DS carbs. they seem to like larger jetting in the 170 to 200 range.

Did you raise the needle or the clip? You stated that you did both. You need to raise the needle(drop the clip)

He probably put the clip at the top, that's why he got rid of the part throttle rich condition.

OOPS, my bad, i raised the needle (moved the clip to the bottom position)
sorry for the confusion on my behalf....it was very early when i posted

i got the same filter and outer wear that Heapster has on his predator. all i like now is the slip on silencer.
