First off BigHead, you list both of your DS650's with NOS.
HELLO, NOS? If you used it you had dang well better win.
Second. anyone who owns that many quads certainly has more money than they know what to do with. It doesnt matter if the new quad on the block can beat you or not. You can either modify your existing quad(s), or just buy the one that is kicking your butt.
SO LAY OFF the polaris guys. This is the first shot polaris had at making a sport quad. Now granted, they didnt really make it, FUJI did. Bomb has been the only company that seems to have hit a homerun with its first ever sport quad. Im speaking of the 90's folks, we are all aware of the success of the LT250r, LT500r, trx250r, and so forth.

We can take the verbal abuse...that thick skin thing. Also, does that mean Ford never really made the SHO Taurus, Yamaha did it for them? (Yamaha designed and built the induction system for those that didn't know) Fuji manufactured the engine to Polaris' specs. How about we start giving Mikuni and Kehin full manufacturing kudos eventhough the only do the carbs. Thanks for giving Polaris credit, just make sure you give them FULL credit. I agree that manufacturing is a cooperative job. However, ford still built the engine the induction sat on, and other companies build the engines the carbs sit on. Im talking about stuff like the land rover running a BMW engine. And Polaris subcontracting the engine is more than just a component, its the basis of the entire quad. And exactly what specs did Polaris give them? I dont think anyone really knows. They could have just said, hey, we need a moderately displaced, single cylinder engine to put in a 400cc sized chassis. we'd like it to perform well too. Define the specs...
But, one has to give Kudos to polaris for entering the market. Kind of like the kawasaki, except polaris made a whole lot more than just their own plastic dyes.
