Default Twin air or K&N ?

I was wondering if anybody has tried the Twin air filter on the predator yet. I was looking at there web site and saw that they made one for the predator. I have always used foam filters and am not sure about a K&N. The dust around here in the summer is really bad its like flour and I want the best protection. Thanks...

Default Twin air or K&N ?

I like Foam to, I run a K&N in m Mojave and a UNI in the 300EX and Trail Boss, when I take the K&N off my Mojave I can scrape away dirt from the intake boot with the UNI it's clean. I oil my filters that's not the problem. Why would you buy a K&N when they are twice the price. The HP #'s they put out is almost the same you won't tell a difference between the two filters and how your bike responds. Many people say get a K&N with an outerware well it's gonna cost $60 and not filter as good as a UNI that cost $20. What's the point of K&N?

Default Twin air or K&N ?

Does anyone know of either differences or advantages and disadvantages between Uni and Twin Air filters, or are the pretty much identical?

Generally, the UNI has a more course type foam. the Twin Air has a finer type foam.

I have a K&N and a UNI. The K&N sits on my work bench to help collect the dust. I run mine with a UNI.
