Ya I agree, not sure if the guy who posted it is credible, but sure does seem he is... Can't you already get the SP700 in Yellow & Black in the Limited Edition? So much for that

Hell YA! Polaris and Yamaha are the only ones with ***** enough to continue with 2 stroke atvs for the mainstreem adult market, not just kids quads. Kawasaki, Honda, and Suzuki gave up on their 2 stroke ATVs in the 80s and early 90s, what a shame cause they had some of the best made to this day: The Tecate 3 and so so specal tecate4 with it's brutally fast 250cc two stroke with POWERVALVE. The infamous trx250r and atc250r were amazing. The LT500r quadzilla is still the king of two stroke power. a 500cc single cylinder 2 stroker wow what a job, and the smaller lt250r is a nice two stroke as well!

Yep, typical. Just like my other "friend" that used to come on here all knowledgable(and he generally was) talking about unvieling of this and introduction of that, but he wont tell you when or by who, just trust him. And it turned out to be squat, just like Mountaineer "info" was.

Im just glad I got a real machine and dont have to keep hoping for the next greatest thing so I can upgrade. At least he didnt post this in the Honda forum, those guys would be commiting suicide by now.

Copied this from another site...

The two new models that are out are a new line called ATPs(not really sure what that stands for). They pretty much are a four wheeler with a dump bed on. They are making a 330 and 500. Both of these are equiped with a new rear end that has three modes:limited slip, locked 2wd and locked 4wd. They have a cargo box on the front rack and some in the fenders. My brother said the best way to describe them is as a rolling beer cooler. Ok, now for the changes to the Sportsman line. Somehow, Polaris has run out of 2003 Sportsman so everything from here on out is going to a 2004 model. All of these models now have the same grill that is used on the 600/700 and the plastic has been slightly modified. I havent seen a picture yet so Im not really sure what they look like. All the colors are still the same with a few exceptions. There will no longer be any red sportsmans or black and grey. The black and grey is now black and yellow. The option is also now available to get any size Sportsman in camo.

the only thing that i dont understand is evidentily mountianeerrider and the few others with the "info" evidentily knew nothing about what polaris was doing other than it was an atv type machine (now here's the part that gets me) most of the ones with the info kept saying stuff like "fast" and look out..

why did they do this if they had no knowledge of what they were unveiling and knew it. now im not trying to start a flame by any means, but.... whats the point?

The new ATP's are now listed on the Polaris site as 2004 models. So are the new sportsmans (Nice grills on those). I notice there are no sport models listed (yet). Does this mean they just haven't updated their site with the current models or are they adding new ones?

Beasty,
Thats a good question, possibly some deep seated need to be liked? I think its a bunch of BS.
